Why the Change?

We’ve made the shift to an interactive conference space because we believe in making learning and networking a more hands-on experience. Our new platform is designed with indie authors like you in mind, so you can fully participate, connect, and engage with the content and your fellow attendees.

Whether you’re diving into live sessions or catching up on replays, this platform gives you all the tools you need to maximize your conference experience.

Accessing the Conference

Here’s how you can access everything the conference has to offer:

  1. Visit the Conference Space on SelfPubConnect
    Head over to SelfPubConnect and log in or create a free account if you don’t have one yet. Once logged in, you’ll be able to explore the conference feed, register for events, and start networking with other attendees!
  2. Register for Events
    You can register for all the hourly sessions once announced. Use the agenda tab at the top of the platform to see the full schedule and sign up for the sessions that pique your interest. The conference officially kicks off on 19th October 2024, running for a full 24 hours with one new session every hour.
  3. Participate Live or Watch at Your Own Pace
    On conference day, our feed will be buzzing with fresh content every hour. Some sessions will be pre-recorded, allowing you to watch whenever you like, while others will be live, giving you the chance to join in on the conversation through live chat.Missed a live session? No problem! All live sessions will be available for replay shortly after they air, so you can catch up at your convenience. Replays may take a little while to appear, so if you don’t see them right away, check back soon.
  4. Engage with Speakers and Attendees
    We’re all about participation, so don’t be shy! During live sessions, jump into the chat and let us know where you’re tuning in from, share your thoughts, or ask your burning questions. The more you interact, the more you’ll gain from the experience.Once a session is over, use the comment boxes below each video to continue the discussion. Feel free to share insights, ask follow-up questions, or chat with other attendees and speakers!
  5. Replay and Access Window
    You’ll have 3 days to catch up on any sessions you missed. But if you’re an ALLi member or an Access Pass holder, you’ll enjoy extended replay access, so you won’t have to rush!
  6. Keep an Eye on the Feed for Surprises!
    In the lead-up to the conference, we’ll be dropping exciting updates, announcing competitions, and sharing some fun surprises right in the feed! Make sure to check in often so you don’t miss out on these exclusive goodies.

Navigating the Platform

Here’s what you’ll find at the top of your conference space on SelfPubConnect:

  • Agenda Tab: This is your go-to spot for the full conference schedule. Browse sessions, register for events, and plan your conference day.
  • Chat Tab: Connect with other attendees in real time. This is a great place to meet fellow indie authors, share experiences, and make connections that last beyond the conference.
  • Resources Tab: Access additional conference materials, downloads, and helpful links shared by our speakers and sponsors.
